１－２　Definitions of Global Business

There exist so many ways of interpreting global business, and it has not had a universal definition yet. Here I will focus on the definition of multinational companies that seems to be the most popular ways of expressing business across borders. Heenan& Perlnutter said,

There are no precise definitions for multi-nationalizing of a complex business organisation. The word “multinational” is widely used but people understand it just as they please. Even industrialists and scholars often use the words like “international”, “supranational”, “global”, “transnational” and “multinational” in the same definition.

Then, how should we understand and define such words? I will introduce and simplify present definitions, and find out the very modern business organisation.
